How to pick the right workshop

What's included?

Usually all materials. Silver is often charged by weight in jewellery classes, and for screen printing you bring your own shirts or bags.

Take it home or collect later?

Candles, mosaics and many jewellery pieces go home with you. Rugs, cast jewellery and ceramics take days to weeks.

German or English?

Many Berlin workshops run in English or both. If a listing doesn't say, just ask.

How big is the group?

Four to eight people is ideal, so the teacher has time for you.

Cancelling?

Many providers only refund up to one or two weeks ahead, so book once the date really works.

As a gift

Almost everyone sells vouchers. Craft Hub gift cards are valid for twelve months on any workshop on thecrafthub.de.

Workshops in Berlin: FAQ

How much does a workshop in Berlin cost?

A single craft workshop costs between €15 and €180 per person with the providers here. Candle dipping and beginner knitting are cheapest; tufting, kintsugi and silver jewellery cost most.

Which workshops in Berlin are in English?

37 of the 55 providers here teach in English or both languages, including many pottery, tufting, painting and perfume workshops. The Craft Hub's workshops are mostly in English, too.

Which workshop is good for beginners?

Pretty much all of them. Candle dipping, mosaic, sip and paint or perfume get you a nice result fastest. Pottery, tufting and jewellery take a little longer but are just as beginner-friendly.

Are there workshops for groups, birthdays or teams?

Yes, many providers run private sessions for groups. For companies, we've collected ideas and prices on team-event-berlin.de.

What is Craft & Connect?

An open craft night by The Craft Hub: bring your own project or pre-order a craft kit and make things alongside others. A nice way to meet new people in Berlin.
